Care: All Campania International planters have drainage holes  To prevent freezing to the ground, elevate planters left outside with plants in winter  If not in use, store them indoors in a garage or shed  The planters require maintenance during winter freeze-thaw cycles, which can damage items holding water or ice  If you can't elevate the planter, turn it upside down to avoid snow accumulation  Cover it with burlap or an absorbent material, wrapping it in dark plastic to prevent moisture buildup.
